MARULAN

Marulan is a small town located 167 km south-west of Sydney via the Hume Freeway and approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the town of Moss Vale.
Marulan was originally known as Mooroowoolen which was the name of a private village established in the area in the 1820s. It is believed that Mooroowoolen was a local word of Gundungurra Aboriginal origin. Marulan also features a number of historic buildings including two churches, a rectory, historic pub and some fine examples of commercial buildings dating back to 19th Century.
Marulan has plenty to offer with a regional railway station, public school, variety of local shops, cafés and take away stores including the Marulan bakehouse, butchery, local pharmacy and general store
